Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (thigh) is dealing with a bruised thigh suffered in the preseason game Monday, Aug. 18. Griffin said it is "nothing to worry about" but that he must improve his sliding. He was hit hard a few times after the end of some scrambles and took a cumbersome attempt at a slide. "When he gets out of the pocket, he needs to protect himself," said head coach Jay Gruden.
Griffin's durability is the chief concern to fantasy players trying to capitalize on his sleeper potential. In the middle rounds, the risk is alleviated, though not erased.
