Bills | Marcell Dareus entering treatment

Buffalo Bills DT Marcell Dareus has agreed to enter an NFL substance abuse program as he works to have felony drug charges dismissed, according to Rod Giddens, Dareus' attorney. Dareus was given permission to enter the program at a hearing in Calhoun County Court in Alabama Monday, July 21. Charges levied on May 5 of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia will be dismissed and perhaps expunged should he complete the required activities. The NFL could still discipline Dareus, however.
The last sentence puts a damper on this news, which could negatively affect the Bills' defensive line, considered its strength on defense. In fantasy, they're a fringe starting DT with even more risk during any potential Dareus absence.
