Titans | Won't pick up Jake Locker's option
Wed, 30 Apr 2014 16:52:06 -0700
The Tennessee Titans will not exercise the fifth-year option on QB Jake Locker's contract, meaning he will be playing for his future with the organization in 2014. The Titans have yet to officially announce their decision. Locker is scheduled to make $2.091 million this year.
Locker, who has been injured for much of his time with the team, will have to prove he's worthy of sticking around in 2014, and that'll start with staying on the field. He'll be in competition for the starting QB job in training camp. Going into the year, Locker is a QB3 with upside.
