Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel showed that he has the makings of a starting quarterback in the NFL during his pro day Thursday, March 27. "He showed us he can make all the throws," NFL Network analyst Kurt Warner said. "That deep ball was impeccable. Great touch, good enough velocity and was able to set it out there." Manziel completed 61 of 64 passes. NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said Manziel's arm strength was at least as strong as Central Florida QB Blake Bortles' and stronger than Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater's.
Manziel is expected to be a top-five pick in this year's draft, with the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders as possible landing spots. He'll likely be starting in Week 1 with whichever organization he lands with.
