Packers | Aaron Rodgers to have tests done
Tue, 03 Dec 2013 05:19:24 -0800
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) will have scans performed on his shoulder Tuesday, Dec. 3, to determine how much healing has occurred. The team intends to have the results back later Tuesday, which should determine whether he'll play in Week 14 against the Atlanta Falcons. Sources from the team say the medical staff is proceeding very cautiously, knowing Rodgers' collarbone could be reinjured if he returns too quickly.
You'll have to continue sitting on Rodgers in hopes that he can return this weekend. The Packers medical staff is notoriously cautious with serious injuries, so don't be surprised to see him miss this week and maybe the rest of the season. Continue to cover your bases with a solid backup QB.
