Bears | Jay Cutler must be cleared
Thu, 07 Nov 2013 09:43:59 -0800
The Chicago Bears' plan is for QB Jay Cutler (groin) to test his torn groin muscle to see if he can be medically cleared to play in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. Head coach Marc Trestman said Cutler will start this weekend if he receives the necessary clearance from the medical staff.
Sit tight here. We should know by tomorrow, however, whether Cutler will have a chance to play. It might be wise to hold off starting him until next week, though. Make sure you have a trustworthy backup plan at QB.
