Lions | Nate Burleson may not play this weekend

Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (forearm) returned to practice Tuesday, Nov. 5, but it's not a guarantee that he'll return to play in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears. "I'd caution reading too much (into) him being out there and being back," head coach Jim Schwartz said. "But he is progressing well and everyone is pleased with his progression. We all know how tough a guy Nate is. If it was up to him, he probably would have missed one game, but there's only so much that you can do with healing bones and stuff."
How much Burleson accomplishes in practice this week will determine if he can return to play this weekend. Expect Detroit to stay on the cautious side, however. Burleson is probably available on most waiver wires if you're looking to add WR depth in the coming weeks. Kris Durham's role will suffer when Burleson is back.
