Panthers | Jonathan Stewart looks good

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (ankles), who is still currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list, looked and felt great in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30, and the team expects him to be active in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons. "I feel ready," Stewart said. "Today was a good step forward putting the pads on. It felt good going out there and hitting the field full speed with some contact and running plays with contact." Stewart had the majority of snaps in practice with RB DeAngelo Williams (quadriceps) being held out for precautionary reasons. Head coach Ron Rivera continues to say that Williams will remain the starter and that RB Mike Tolbert will continue to see touches. "We can't force things," Rivera said. "We can't. What we've got to do is Mike (Shula, offensive coordinator) has to continue to call his game the way he wants to call it, and at the end of the day when you get your opportunity make the best of it."
The three-headed monster in Carolina is back. Even though Williams and Tolbert will continue to see their touches, Stewart's return will make them less attractive, especially after a few weeks when he has his legs under him in game situations. DAW is more of an RB3 now with Tolbert and J-Stew representing RB depth for your fantasy squad.
