Giants | Peyton Hillis ready for bigger role

New York Giants RB Peyton Hillis said he's ready to take on a bigger role in the running game after making his season debut in Week 7. "Most definitely," Hillis said. "I think it always takes a couple weeks to get back into shape when you're on the couch for five weeks. I'm thinking that, no matter what they ask me to do, my body is going to be in a lot better shape than it was last week, for sure."
At least for another week, Hillis is a decent option for starting lineups as an RB2 or 3, especially with Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) ailing. Hillis is a short-term solution, however, with David Wilson (neck) and Andre Brown (leg) looming on the horizon.
