Rams | Zac Stacy to receive his turn?

St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said the team will probably go with a committee approach at running back in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and RB Zac Stacy could receive his chance after RBs Daryl Richardson, Isaiah Pead and Benny Cunningham haven't been very productive. "I think Zac's done a really good job since he's been here," QB Sam Bradford said. "He's a very talented runner. He's a powerful guy. He's got great vision. He makes cuts in the hole that are quick and decisive, so I'm excited to see him out there." Stacy has only one carry for four yards on the season against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1. He was inactive in Weeks 2 and 3. The rest of the team's running backs haven't been good in pass protection through four weeks, and although he hasn't proven himself in the NFL yet, Stacy had a reputation as a good pass blocker coming out of college.
Many expect Cunningham to be the next man up in the Rams backfield, but it could easily be Stacy, as well. He's the cheaper option off the waiver wire this week. It wouldn't hurt to stash him and see how this plays out this weekend.
