Buccaneers | Josh Freeman not on sidelines
Mon, 30 Sep 2013 09:55:17 -0700
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman was not on the sidelines during the team's Week 4 loss because head coach Greg Schiano said it was a "mutual decision." Freeman didn't dress out and watched the game from a suite with the other inactive players. QB Dan Orlovsky was the backup to QB Mike Glennon against the Arizona Cardinals.
It's gone from bad to worse for Freeman in Tampa. It's very clear now that he has no future with the team and virtually zero chance of winning the starting job back. It's now just a matter of if the Bucs can find a trade partner or if they outright release him.
