Redskins | Jordan Reed evolving as tight end

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed, who has caught eight passes in two games and is tied for second on the team in receptions, is looking for like the pass-catching tight end that the team drafted him as with extra practice time. Reed played the most snaps of any other tight end on the team (29) in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers and has only 10 fewer snaps than TE Fred Davis this year. Davis wasn't used as much in the second half last week in favor of Reed, but it's unclear if there will be a shift in playing time moving forward. "It's something that will be week-to-week, game-to-game," offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said. "As the game went on, we felt we had a better chance with Jordan there in the second half."
Don't panic just yet if you are a Davis owner, but just be aware of the situation. If Reed continues to impress, there could be a shift in playing time down the road, though. Keep Reed on your radar if you're rotating backup tight ends.
