Giants | David Wilson plays 24 snaps

Updating a previous report, New York Giants RB David Wilson ran only seven times for 17 yards in the Week 2 loss against the Denver Broncos, and he was on the field for only 24 of 79 offensive snaps. Wilson lost goal-line carries to RB Brandon Jacobs. RB Da'Rel Scott led the way with 39 snaps played. Head coach Tom Coughlin has struggled to trust Wilson in pass protection, and even Scott is seen as a better blocker in those situations.
Wilson's limited workload is definitely a concern, but look at the bright side: at least he didn't fumble. Yes, Wilson will lose value by not being the goal-line back, but he should see his workload go back up if he doesn't put the ball on the turf.
