Chiefs | Anthony Fasano hopes to cash in

Kansas City Chiefs TE Anthony Fasano wanted to join the team because he feels head coach Andy Reid has a very tight end friendly offense, and to catch passes for QB Alex Smith. "Looking back at Coach Reid's past with tight ends and their success is definitely a positive," Fasano said Monday, Sept. 2, "and Alex seems to like the tight end."
Fasano is the only tight end on the team's roster to catch a pass in an NFL game, and the team isn't exactly blessed with tremendous depth at the wide receiver position. Behind WR Dwayne Bowe and RB Jamaal Charles, Fasano might end up being the third-most targeted pass catcher on the team. He is still more of a TE2 for fantasy owners, but he has the potential to move up the rankings quickly.
