Steelers | Jarvis Jones finding ways to get football
Wed, 28 Aug 2013 09:00:31 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers LB Jarvis Jones (chest) has shown a knack for being near the football during training camp and the preseason. He has come up with the football once in each of the first three preseason games, recovering two fumbles and coming up with a loose football after a blocked field goal attempt. "I call it lucky," Jones said. "I'm just running to the ball and trying to make plays." Jones won't have a chance to make it four straight games with a turnover, as he has been ruled out for the preseason final Thursday, Aug. 29, due to a chest injury.
Jones could be a deep sleeper in fantasy leagues which use individual defensive players (IDPs) if his knack for finding loose footballs continues.
