Patriots | Tom Brady allays fears of fantasy owners
Fri, 16 Aug 2013 19:49:07 -0700
New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) suffered a knee ailment in practice this week, but he was able to play, and play well, in the preseason game Friday, Aug. 16, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady completed all but one of his 12 pass attempts for 107 yards and a touchdown, and he added a successful two-point conversion throw, too.
If you were worried about Brady's knee, he proved he is 100 percent healthy and ready for the regular season to begin. Sure, his arsenal is not as stocked as past years, but he always has a way of making those around him better. Don't expect much of a drop off, as he remains a fantasy stud worth picking anywhere from the late third round.
