Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said the team does not have a timetable for WR Percy Harvin's (hip) return but did say the surgeon was encouraged with how the hip was responding days after the surgery. "We're hopeful, whatever that means. We won't know, it's going to take a good month before we can figure if he's even going to have a chance to come roaring back out of it, but it looks like all of the signs are very good. So we'll see what that means, but we're not putting any weeks on it. We don't know," Carroll said.
There's a very good chance that Harvin won't make it back at all this year. Even if he does return, he might not be as effective, and there won't be much time for him to contribute to your roster. Do yourself a favor and delete him from your cheat sheets. It makes some sense to take a chance on him if your league has IR spots, but he'll still likely just be taking up space on your roster all year.
