Cardinals | Larry Fitzgerald, Carson Palmer connecting

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald and QB Carson Palmer have been working together at the receiver's annual summer program at the University of Minnesota. "Look, this is a big year for me, coming off my worst season as a pro," Fitzgerald said. "I know Carson wants to play well this year. This is a huge year, and we're leaning on each other." New head coach Bruce Arians' offense features more formations, route adjustments and hot reads than Palmer is accustomed to executing, so the pair, and the franchise, is hoping that the extra work will improve chemistry and preparedness.
Palmer may have a ways to go to be anything but a QB2. Fitz, however, is extremely motivated to rebound from his worst season as a pro, statistically, in 2012, and many of the elements are in place that would allow the stud pass-catcher to do so. This may be one of the more optimal -- relatively speaking -- years to draft him.
