Titans | Kevin Walter expected to be ready

Tennessee Titans WR Kevin Walter (back) missed all of minicamp with back soreness, but head coach Mike Munchak isn't too concerned about the veteran's readiness for training camp. "Just because we do so many things similar (to what Walter did with the Houston Texas), he understands so many things we're trying to accomplish as a team, a play-action team, a run the ball team. He'll be OK," Munchak said. "We already know what he can do, so he is probably one guy who can miss time. But he has already made an influence on our receivers by the way he handles things. He's a nice fit."
Walter will be jockeying with Justin Hunter, Nate Washington and others for targets behind Kenny Britt, who is still expected to be the No. 1. If Walter can end up in a starting role, he has a chance to be a very solid No. 3 or 4 fantasy receiver or flex player in leagues of 12 or more teams. Nab him in the middle rounds on draft day.
