Redskins | Robert Griffin doing cutting drills
Fri, 21 Jun 2013 14:51:20 -0700
Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (knee) was able to participate in three straight days of cutting and change-of-direction drills and did not suffer any setbacks. He will continue to do similar drills in the next few weeks to get his knee stronger. He has two scheduled checkups on his knee before the start of training camp.
The good news keeps coming for Griffin in his rehab from torn knee ligaments. It appears like he will be able to participate at least in a limited fashion once training camp begins. He should be seen as a No. 1 fantasy quarterback if he is healthy, but owners that select him should look to take a strong backup quarterback in case Griffin has any problems.
