Patriots | Rob Gronkowski may need another surgery
Sun, 07 Apr 2013 10:32:25 -0700
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (forearm) may need to undergo another surgery on his forearm to clear up an infection. Doctors are still considering some non-surgical treatment for the infection and it will take a few weeks to determine if antibiotics can clear up the infection. It is not known if he is in danger of missing regular season time.
Gronkowski has been dealing issues in his forearm for several months and it could affect a portion of his 2013 NFL season if he needs a fourth surgery. Gronkowski likely would still be an every-week starter even if he missed the first game because of he has been productive since entering the league.
