Mon, 30 Jul 2012 09:57:06 -0700

Penske Championship Racing driver A.J. Allmendinger is entered in NASCAR's Road to Recovery program that takes four to five months before he'll be eligible for reinstatement. The team is unsure if they will allow Allmendinger to return for the 2013 Sprint Cup season. Driver Sam Hornish Jr. will likely remain the driver for the rest of the season in Allmendinger's place.
