Chicago White Sox 1B Jose Abreu extended his hitting streak to 19 games with a single in four at-bats Wednesday, July 30, against the Detroit Tigers. It is tied for the third-longest streak by a rookie in franchise history. Abreu has also hit safely in 37 of the past 38 games.
