Padres | Jedd Gyorko still shut down
Tue, 17 Jun 2014 14:06:53 -0700

San Diego Padres 2B Jedd Gyorko (foot) is still a long ways from returning to the field, according to manager Bud Black, although Gyorko could have his walking boot removed from his left foot as soon as Friday, June 20. "He's not even close to coming off (the disabled list). He's still in a mode of shutdown. He's very limited in activity," Black said. "The foot isn't healing very quickly, so it's going to be a while before we see Jedd."
