Angels | Josh Hamilton making progress

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim OF Josh Hamilton (thumb) took 95 swings off a tee with his bottom hand Friday, May 2, and is scheduled to meet with a doctor Saturday, May 3, in hopes of getting clearance to start throwing with a brace next week. He believes he can start playing in rehab games in 10 to 14 days, but his surgeon is reluctant to clear anyone before six weeks after the surgery.
