Rangers | Matt Harrison on track
Wed, 18 Dec 2013 13:56:27 -0800

Texas Rangers SP Matt Harrison (back) is on track to be fully healthy entering the 2014 season. He has resumed throwing and could get on a mound again next week. "My back is doing well," said Harrison, who had a pair of surgeries on his back for herniated discs this year. "I'm throwing right now. I'm back to about 150 feet now. I've been throwing about a month now, off and on, two or three times a week. The plan was for next week during the Christmas week to start getting off the mound a little bit." Harrison said he'll start throwing at 50 or 60 percent when he gets back on the mound. He doesn't expect to be limited during spring training.
