Angels | Mark Trumbo makes adjustment
Fri, 26 Jul 2013 13:38:11 -0700

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim OF Mark Trumbo is getting his foot down earlier at the plate and going back to the swing he used in his final season in the minors in 2010. Trumbo is going the other way more often, and he's sacrificing some power for more contact. "This is a nice combination, but ultimately what I would like to see is me checking off a lot of pitches that I can't get to," Trumbo said. "That's going to be a very good indicator to me."
