Minnesota Twins top-prospect SP Alex Meyer (Shoulder) is expected to pitch competitively before the end of the season, according to his agent Scott Boras. Boras said he spoke with general manager Terry Ryan about Meyer. "I spoke to Terry about Alex," Boras said at Citi Field. "They're doing the appropriate things, examining him, resting him. We have not heard anything that suggests that he wouldn't be back (by season's end)."
