Wed, 10 Jul 2013 20:02:26 -0700

Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost said he would have called upon RP Greg Holland Wednesday, June 10, against the New York Yankees if the situation called for it, even though he had worked three of his past four days. Since his last blown save May 6, Holland has converted 15 straight saves and allowed just two runs over 23 innings, lowering his ERA from 3.75 to 1.80.
