Rockies | Juan Nicasio not a lock for next start
Wed, 26 Jun 2013 13:17:10 -0700

Colorado Rockies SP Juan Nicasio isn't guaranteed to make his next start Sunday, June 30, after he allowed a career-high 12 hits in his last start. SP Drew Pomeranz is the likely candidate to replace Nicasio in the rotation. "We will continue to reassess this situation," manager Walt Weiss said. "It's tough in this league when you don't have consistent fastball command. Juan has a good fastball, but you have to command it up here."
