Tigers | Alex Avila expected to start rehab assignment soon

Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland said C Alex Avila (forearm) could begin a rehab assignment as soon as Saturday, June 22. Leyland said a lot of the soreness in Avila's forearm has gone away.
