Wed, 08 May 2013 17:27:28 -0700

Cleveland Indians SP Zach McAllister learned how to throw a splitter during spring training and has started throwing the pitch during games. He said he probably threw the pitch seven to 10 times in his last start. Manager Terry Francona said he does not want McAllister to use the pitch too often since he is still working on improving the pitch.
