Rangers | David Murphy struggling in first month
Mon, 29 Apr 2013 16:01:38 -0700

Texas Rangers OF David Murphy is hitting only .176 entering Monday, April 29, but he's only been a career .228 hitter in the first month of the season. He's never had more than two home runs in April. The strange thing is that he's hitting 57 points worse against right-handed pitchers than lefties. Murphy has 15 strikeouts in 91 at-bats and has just six walks.
