Angels | Garrett Richards is unlikely savior

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP Garrett Richards allowed just two hits and no walks with eight strikeouts over seven scoreless innings in a win Saturday, April 20, against the Detroit Tigers. He has worked into the seventh inning in both of his starts filling in for SP Jered Weaver (forearm), the only pitcher on the staff to make it past the sixth in the team's first 16 games.
