Phillies | Roy Halladay frustrated
Thu, 04 Apr 2013 12:40:41 -0700

Philadelphia Phillies SP Roy Halladay was frustrated with his performance in his season debut against the Atlanta Braves Wednesday, April 3, and he said he needs to be more aggressive early in the count. "I'm frustrated," he said. "I should have gone deeper than that. Not aggressive enough early in the count. Went into deep counts. Really, that's the most frustrating part . . . I'm going to clean that up and be more aggressive." Nearly half of the pitches he threw on Wednesday were either changeups or curveballs. Halladay said he still feels as though he's building arm strength after his velocity has been down.
