Cardinals | David Freese won't be out long

St. Louis Cardinals 3B David Freese (back) can return to action April 7 because the team will backdate his disabled list stint. The team is targeting April 8, the home opener, for Freese's season debut. Freese has only 16 at-bats since bruising his tailbone March 4.
