Boston Red Sox RP Daniel Bard is expected to start the year in the minors after having another rough outing against minor leaguers Friday, March 22. He could not get out of the inning Friday after allowing a single, walking two, striking out two and hitting a batter. He threw 14 of his 27 pitches for strikes.
