Fri, 15 Mar 2013 20:07:36 -0700

Chicago Cubs 3B Josh Vitters (quadriceps) returned to game action Friday, March 15, in a Cactus League spring game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was his first game action since Feb. 21. "I got to test (my leg) on the first ball I hit, I hit a grounder to shortstop," Vitters said. "It's kind of good that I had a couple of ground balls and got to test it out. I didn't push it to 100 percent, but I picked it up pretty close."
