Updating a previous report, vision is starting to return to the left eye of St. Louis Cardinals RP Marc Rzepczynski (eye) following a freak accident on a golf course Friday, March 8. His eye and the area around it were deeply bruised but the retina was not damaged and he was told there was a "95 percent chance there would be no permanent damage." The team's medical staff advised him to rest at home for three days before being re-evaluated Monday, March 11. Rzepczynski has also noticed reduced swelling but his return will depend upon the severity of the bruising in and around his eye.
