Fri, 08 Mar 2013 21:30:05 -0800

Updating a previous report, Chicago Cubs 3B Ian Stewart (quadriceps) said Friday, March 8, that he believes he is just days away from returning to Cactus League spring game action. "Today is the best I've felt in a while," Stewart said. "Very encouraging today. In most of the exercises I've done I haven't felt that tightness or soreness at all. Definitely a good sign. Hopefully just a few more days."
