Fri, 08 Mar 2013 16:06:45 -0800

Atlanta Braves C Evan Gattis went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run Friday, March 8, and he's now 11-for-29 (.440) with four doubles, three home runs, 11 RBIs, no walks and seven strikeouts this spring. He's pushing to make the roster, but he hasn't played above Class AA. Atlanta could consider keeping him as a third catcher/fifth outfielder and pinch hitter.
