Mets | Johan Santana told to be cautious
Mon, 04 Mar 2013 14:43:06 -0800

New York Mets manager Terry Collins told SP Johan Santana (shoulder) to be more cautious after throwing what he called an "unnecessary" bullpen session Sunday, March 3. "In retrospect, he knows he would have handled it a bit differently," Collins said. "But he's fine and he wanted to show everybody he was fine. I just said look, we're going to do this the right way, we're not going to hurt you, we're not going to get you injured." Santana did not have any setbacks during the session.
