Sat, 02 Mar 2013 09:21:16 -0800

Philadelphia Phillies SP Roy Halladay spent the offseason working on exercises designed to strengthen his lower half and core, as a result of being plagued by lower back problems that led to upper back and shoulder issues that changed his delivery. He said that many of his struggles last year came in innings following big offensive outbursts by the Phillies because of sitting in the dugout for lengthy periods of time.
