Fri, 01 Mar 2013 15:23:46 -0800

Minnesota Twins SP Kyle Gibson has the lead in the competition for the No. 5 rotation spot this spring. Gibson said his command is back after going through Tommy John surgery, and the coaching staff has been very impressed with his work. He won't have that long of a leash as the other starters in camp, and if he struggles, the team will likely send him to the minors.
