Boston Red Sox OF Ryan Kalish (neck, shoulder) said his body feels very strong heading into spring training, but swinging a bat is a bit of a challenge after undergoing neck and shoulder surgeries in 2011. "There's a point where you play with your pain and you know you're good and be able to give what you have, but if it gets to a point where it's too much, it's too much - and that's performance-based," Kalish said. Kalish and OF Daniel Nava have an opportunity to earn plenty of playing time in left field with OF Jonny Gomes.
