The Toronto Blue Jays have C J.P. Arencibia as their starter, with major league veterans C Henry Blanco and Josh Thole vying for the backup job. As such, prospect C A.J. Jimenez, who has just 105 at-bats at Double-A, has been pulled off the fast track by the team. "We don't want him to feel rushed and have to rely on him to be the backup early (in the majors) when he continues to need at-bats," general manager Alex Anthopoulos said Friday, Jan. 18.
