New York Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira was dropped to sixth in the batting order Wednesday, Oct. 3, after going 0-for-6 and leaving eight men on base Tuesday, Oct. 2. 2B Robinson Cano and OF Nick Swisher moved up to fourth and fifth, respectively. Swisher is batting .393 (22-for-56) with four home runs and 14 RBIs in his last 15 games.
