Colorado Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki (groin) went 2-for-3 with a home run with Triple-A Colorado Springs Wednesday, Aug. 29. However, he made a throwing error after catching a line drive. He played five innings and will play seven innings as the designated hitter Thursday, Aug. 30. "I have felt good playing short. But before I can say I am ready for the big leagues, I need to play nine innings," said Tulowitzki, who's not expected to join the Rockies until after Sept. 1. "I am not running the bases how I would like yet." 1B Jason Giambi (illness) went 1-for-3 in the same rehab game.
