New York Mets SP Dillon Gee (shoulder) underwent another surgery to fix a damaged artery in his right shoulder. He'll be re-evaluated once in three weeks and again in six weeks. He is hoping to resume throwing after his second checkup, and manager Terry Collins said it'll likely be eight weeks until he throws again, which makes it unlikely for him to return this year. SP Miguel Batista will continue to fill in in the rotation for Gee. SP Matt Harvey has no timetable to be called up, and he'll have to earn his promotion to the big leagues.
