Joe Frisaro, of MLB.com, reports the Arizona Diamondbacks exercised their $8.5 million club option for the 2010 season on SP Brandon Webb Friday, Nov. 6. "Since Brandon has recovered well from his surgery, we have decided to exercise his option," general manager Josh Byrnes said. "His accomplishments for our organization have been significant. We look forward to him returning to the mound."

Yabuta can become a free agent if he does not reach an agreement with the team on a major league deal before Nov. 16. Crisp received a $500,000 buyout and Olivo a $100,000 buyout. The team exercised a $500,000 buyout on Yabuta to void their $4 million option for 2010.
